Recommend printing as a solid body for maximum stiffness, 0.3 mm layer height, and 4 perimeters. Note: I had to make sure the bottom was "placed on face" to get a flat bottom layer. |

Recommend printing at 100% infill, the Nut bolts on to the neck and fretboard to make it easy to try different string heights, string diameters, and action settings. **Strong candidate for individual customization.** |

The \*.3MF files are the Prusa Slicer (2.3) project files that include the filament parameters, printer settings, and modifiers I use to successfully and somewhat reliably print the ukulele parts. I print with my Prusa i3 M3s in a LACK enclosure.

I have used both normal brass 0.4 mm nozzles for PLA and a hardened steel nozzle for the carbon fiber PLA.

{% hint style="info" %}
Generally I use:

* .4 mm nozzle
* 0.30 mm "DRAFT" layer height
* Different amounts of infill depending on the piece
* 4 perimeters for body for improved stiffness
* Circular disks at the sharp corners of the large pieces to prevent warping on multi-hour prints
* Placing neodymium magnets place on the circular disks after the print is above the 3 mm layer to help reduce warping and increase adhesion for multi-hour prints
* Texture print sheet
  {% endhint %}
