## Family Tree

![A visual history of the designs over the last few months](https://966603259-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-MSV3Je-C2kTZTVekW9s%2F-MS_Ka4FULqLvkcEvgaA%2F-MS_Q3wyW_T4tsTv_e0k%2FDSC_2200.JPG?alt=media\&token=bb2a4a52-4b77-429c-b155-c77eb66e1d72)

### Tenor

The orange and black ukuleles on the right are the latest [Wave MOD1 designs](/3d-printing-ukuleles/wave-mod1-tenor-baritone-ukulele-design.md) (available via GitLab). I describe and play these on the [Meet the Instruments ](https://youtu.be/aQ5t-8TQPMs)video. The orange material is standard PLA and the black is carbon-fiber PLA. The brown tenor-sized instrument in the middle was my first tenor design printed out of PETG. It is not as stiff or lively as the newer Wave design.

### Concert

The copper colored concert-sized (third from the right with the broken string) is the 2020 Christmas Concert Ukulele design available to download. I have produced five of these that we used for our [Christmas carol videos](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXbvWuus8wwvp80Zf3ysKaLMbjueqepfr). You can hear me play it one the [Meet the Instruments](https://youtu.be/aQ5t-8TQPMs) video above. The silver concert-sized was my first concert design and printed out of PETG. It was not stiff enough, partly because PETG is more flexible than PLA, and sounded mushy and quite.

### Soprano

The red and blue soprano-sized ukuleles were downloaded from Thingiverse and are what got me started playing and designing ukuleles.
